Anna Silk is a Fredericton native, the daughter Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had a diverse range of abilities, which included the ability to act, direct production, create plays teaching, as well as be the Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna was born in Fredericton and is being the daughter of Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk. Her mother is a "English-Turkish Cypriot ex-pat" that is originally from Britain.
